The Research Paper: Project 2: Off-Campus Access to Library Resources

This project introduces using secondary source books and ebooks for research.

To use the library's electronic resources when you're away from campus, click on the database link in your course guide or on the A-Z databases list page.

Those links will ensure that you can login via EZ Proxy! For a full explanation of how EZ Proxy works, watch the video below.

Login to EZ Proxy

  • If you are working off-campus you will need to sign in to library databases via EZ Proxy.
  • This only needs to be done once per session, and will give you access to all the electronic resources and databases you would typically have while on-campus at Taft.

Create a Proxy Link

If you're off-campus and you can't open an article or ebook you had found previously in a Taft online database, you need to create a proxy link by copying and pasting the following in front of your article's permanent URL:

http://lib2.taftschool.org:2048/login?url=
