How Do I?: Print to a Network Printer

HOW TO UNINSTALL EXISTING MOBILITY PRINT PRINTERS

Effective 3/25/2024: You must remove (delete) any existing Mobility Print printers before adding the new Mobility Print. The existing printers will no longer work.

Instructions to remove a printer:

  - Click here for MacOS instructions.

  - Click here for Windows instructions.

There are two ways to print to a Taft Network public printer from your laptop or other device, Web Print and Mobility Print.

1. Click here to add all Taft Network printers to your device with MOBILITY PRINT.

Mobility Print is a network print service that enables students and guests to set up all Taft Network public printers on their own devices (laptop, smartphone, and tablet) and print to them just like a regular local printer. It is a little more involved to set up, however, it enables you to print directly from any app that supports printing.

2. Click here to go to WEB PRINT

Web Print is a network print service that enables printing from a laptop without the need to install print drivers. It is an easy way to print Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and PDF documents.

We provide these printers for your convenience, however, we highly encourage you to work with files digitally and print only when absolutely necessary. If you have a need to print we ask that you refrain from printing large print jobs as you will be consuming valuable printer resources making the printer unavailable for others to use. Please see printing tips for tactics to assure environmental responsibility in printing practices. Thank you for your cooperation and courteousness. Think Green!
